Jessica Elizabeth Pray, (born August 20, 1992) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Johnston, Iowa who was named Miss Iowa 2011.
She won the title of Miss Iowa on June 11, 2011, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Pauli Mayfield.[1][2] Pray's platform is "Saving Lives Through the Gift of Blood Donation". Pray began with her platform chairing several blood drives at her high school and has since become an official volunteer at blood centers across the state of Iowa, working to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. Pray is a student at the University of Iowa and has completed her freshman year, double majoring in Vocal Performance and Theater Arts. Pray was a member of the London-based contemporary-classical vocal trio Moda, along with Lucy Ely of London and Hana Huljic of Croatia.[3]
